HOW TO COOK BEAN CROQUETTES AT HOME STEP BY STEP

Ingredients (Serve 4 people)

  • 250g beans

  • 2g salt

  • 500ml cooking oil

  • 30g breadcrumbs

  • 1 carrot

  • 4 cloves of garlic

  • 2 eggs

  • Carriander leaves

  • 1 onion

  • Water

  • 3 leaves of lettuce

Methods

  • Sort, wash and boil the beans until soft and only a little water is left.

  • Chop the onion.

  • Drain the water completely and mash the beans into a smooth paste.

  • Add beaten egg yolks, curry powder, salt and onion.

  • Mix to obtain stiff consistency and shape the mixture into croquettes of bean shape.

  • Deep them into the egg white. Then, roll them into breadcrumbs.

  • Fry them in hot oil until brown.

  • Serve them on a bed of salad and garnish with sliced boiled carrots or any suitable garnish.
