Ingredients

20 blanched almonds

¼ pt water

2 tablespoons sugar

1 pt milk

2 cardamoms (crushed)
Methods

Remove the skin from the almonds and grind to a smooth paste by adding a little water.

Add the water and stir over moderate heat.

When the almonds come to a boiling point, add the milk, sugar and cardamom and stir.

Allow to boil, then lower the flame and simmer gently for two minutes.

Chill thoroughly and serve in glasses.

NOTE: If the mixture gets too thick, more milk can be added.
