¼ kg raw beef, minced

½ teaspoon salt

¼ cup milk or water (optional)

Pinch of pepper to taste
Methods

Mix the beef thoroughly with salt and pepper. For extra juicy burgers, add half a cup of milk or water.

By hand, shape the mixture into eight thin, flat patties.

Grill the burgers, turning once, or cook on an oiled hot plate or in a frying pan. Brown the meat nicely.

Serve very hot with salad and fried potatoes, or in bread rolls with fried onion rings for a snack.
