1 tablespoon sugar

2 lemon leaves or 1 tea bag

1 lemon

4 cups of water

1 teaspoon masala
Methods

Warm the teapot with boiling water.

Put the tea into the teapot allow one teaspoon per person and one for the pot, or one tea bag per person plus one extra.

Pour boiling water into the pot and leave to brew for 2 or 3 minutes.

Serve in cups with sugar and lemon or lime. Pour through a strainer if loose tea leaves are used.
