Ingredients

200g chicken

50g mushrooms and green pepper

Onion

Pepper and salt

Small amount of garlic (sliced)

½ ml stock

½ teaspoon gravy browning or meat extract
Methods

Heat the dripping and fry the onion and carrot until light brown.

Add the flour and continue frying.

Add the stock and stir well. Simmer for two minutes and strain the sauce.

Season to taste and add gravy browning or meat extract for more flavour.

NOTE: When frying the flour, extra colour may be given by adding a small piece of brown onion. If this is done, the gravy browning may be omitted.
