INGREDIENTS
- 350-400g Flour
- 450g Grated carrots
- 250g Sugar
- 200g Butter
- 10g Baking powder
- 3 Eggs
- 250g Sour cream (high-fat)
- 100g Sugar (for cream)
COOKING PROCEDURES
1. Beat the eggs until smooth.
2. Whisk softened butter with sugar.
3. Add grated carrots to the mixture, mix thoroughly.
4. Pour the flour mixed with baking powder into the mixture and knead the dough.
5. Preheat oven to 180°C / 356°F.
6. Bake 2 identical cakes in a greased mold for 30 minutes.
7. Check readiness with a toothpick.
8. Mix sour cream and sugar. Beat until sugar dissolves completely.
9. Coat the cooled cakes with cream and put them together.
10. Let the cake soak for at least 2 hours before serving.
