Ingredients

4 oz flour

3 oz grated cheese

2 oz butter

Pepper and salt
Methods

Sieve the flour, pepper and salt together.

Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

Add cheese and mix well.

Shape into a ball and divide into two portions.

Lightly flour the rolling board and roll out each half of the dough to ¼ inch thickness.

If the mixture is sticky, add a little more milk.

Cut into rounds with a small fluted cutter and place on a greased baking tray. Prick the surface with a fork.
