Ingredients

6 oz (approx. 170g) breadcrumbs

60g butter

6 oz grated cheese

60g flour

Pinch of baking powder

Salt and pepper

Egg to bind
Methods

Rub butter into flour and breadcrumbs.

Add all other dry ingredients and bind with a well-beaten egg.

Knead carefully and roll out on a board.

Cut into finger-shaped sticks.

Place on a greased baking tray and bake in a moderate oven until golden.
