Ingredients

250g red chillies

10 cloves garlic (ground with vinegar)

1 thick piece of ginger (ground with vinegar)

250g butter

250g sugar

Salt to taste
Methods

Grind the chilli with a little vinegar to a fine paste.

Place all ground ingredients in an enamel saucepan to prevent any chemical reaction.

Add the sugar and stir gently until it dissolves.

Allow to simmer until the sauce thickens.
