Ingredients

100g icing sugar

20ml water or milk

Few drops of vanilla essence

50g chocolate

5g butter or margarine
Methods

Sieve the icing sugar into a bowl.

Put the chocolate, milk or water and butter into a pan and warm gently until the chocolate has melted. Stir until smooth.

Add vanilla essence and the sieved icing sugar, then stir the mixture until smooth.

Use all at once to coat the already iced cake, allowing it to flow downwards.
