½ kg fish

1 lemon

1 piece ginger, pounded

Garlic, pounded

Salt to taste

1 egg

2 dessertspoons wheat flour
Methods

Remove skin and bones from fish.

Cut the fillet into strips (finger shapes).

Add lemon juice, ginger and garlic.

Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well to ensure it is evenly seasoned.

Roll the fillet in wheat flour.

Dip in beaten egg.

Fry in hot deep fat to a golden brown colour.
