How to Make Fish Rolls at Home Step by Step Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ kg boiled fish

  • 3 large potatoes (boiled and mashed)

  • Pepper

  • Salt

  • 1 dessertspoon butter

  • 1 egg (beaten)

  • Breadcrumbs

  • 1 teaspoon milk

Methods

  • Remove skin and bones from the fish and flake it.

  • Add the mashed potatoes and butter. Season with pepper and salt.

  • Stir in half the beaten egg and mix well until firm. Add the milk.

  • Mix well and shape into 4 rolls. Brush over with beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs.

  • Place on a greased baking tray and bake in a moderate oven for 20–30 minutes.

  • Serve with tomatoes and chilli sauce.

  • NOTE: If preferred, the rolls may be fried in deep fat.
