1 cup grated coconut

½ lb sugar

A little ground cinnamon
Methods

Melt the sugar and add the cinnamon and grated coconut.

Cook and stir occasionally until the sugar turns light brown and reaches setting point. To test, put a drop in cold water — it should set into a fairly soft ball. Remove from heat.

When the mixture is cool but still soft, form into egg-sized balls and leave to set.
