How to Make Loshoroo at Home Step by Step Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250g dehulled maize

  • 4 soft green bananas

  • 1 litre sour milk

  • 125g beans (optional)

  • 20g butter or ghee (optional)

  • Water

  • 1 stalk of parsley

Methods

  • Wash and boil the maize until almost tender.

  • Wash the beans and add them to the cooking maize. Continue boiling.

  • Peel and thinly slice the bananas. Wash them well.

  • Add the bananas to the beans and maize mixture and continue cooking until soft enough to mash.

  • Add butter and leave for some minutes.

  • Remove from heat and mash well. Leave to cool. Add milk to make the required consistency.

  • Serve on a plate and garnish with parsley.
