¼ kg minced meat

3 medium-sized potatoes

8 small onions, finely chopped

2 green chillies, finely chopped

2 eggs

Salt to taste

Breadcrumbs

Oil for frying
Methods

Place minced meat in a bowl and add the mashed potatoes, chopped onions and chillies.

Mix well and add salt.

Add 1 egg, slightly beaten, and mix well.

Divide the mixture into eight equal portions and shape them into oval cutlets.

Heat the oil. Dip each cutlet in the remaining beaten egg and coat well in breadcrumbs.

Fry to a golden brown colour.

Drain well and serve hot.

Serve with rice or as a main dish with vegetables as desired.
