Ingredients

240g minced meat

1 onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, crushed

A pinch of chopped herbs

1 tablespoon dried breadcrumbs

½ beaten egg (for coating)

1 teaspoon curry powder

1 teaspoon salt

Fat for frying
Methods

Heat a little fat in a pan and fry the onions until tender. Allow to cool.

Mix the meat with all the other ingredients in a bowl, including the onion, and mix well until the mixture sticks together.

From the mixture, make 4–6 balls.

Coat each meatball with beaten egg, then roll in breadcrumbs.

Heat the fat in a frying pan and fry the meatballs gently until cooked and golden brown.

Serve hot or cold as a snack.
