Ingredients

6 large oranges

1 spoon of sugar

4 cups of water
Methods

Clean the oranges.

Peel the rind very thinly into a bowl.

Add the sugar.

Boil water and pour over the sugar and rind to make a syrup.

Leave to cool and extract colour and flavour from the rind.

Squeeze juice from the fruits and add to the syrup when cold.

Strain and keep in a clean sterilised bottle or serve.
