How to Make Prawn and Fish Cutlets at Home Step by Step Recipe

Ingredients

  • ½ kg boiled prawn, fish or crab meat

  • 10 small onions, finely chopped

  • 2 potatoes (boiled and mashed)

  • 2 red chillies

  • 1 egg for binding

  • Oil for frying

  • Salt to taste

  • Egg and breadcrumbs for coating

Methods

  • Pound the boiled prawn, fish or crab meat, or mince them.

  • Add mashed potatoes, onions, chillies, one beaten egg and salt. Mix well.

  • Divide into equal portions and shape each into oval cutlets.

  • Dip in beaten egg and toss in breadcrumbs.

  • Fry in hot deep fat to a golden brown colour.

  • Arrange neatly on the serving dish, garnished with parsley.
