Ingredients

250g flour

50g raising agents

125g butter or margarine

125g sugar

2 small eggs

1 teaspoon baking powder

A little milk
Methods

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add beaten eggs gradually, beating well after each addition.

Fold in the flour lightly but quickly using a metal spoon.

Add a little milk if necessary to give a soft dropping consistency.

Add the raisins.

Place mixture in patty tins.

Bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
