6 small potatoes

Ground ginger and garlic
Methods

Peel the potatoes and wash them well.

Put water in a saucepan. Add salt, ground ginger and garlic.

Add potatoes and boil for a few minutes, removing them before they are fully tender.

Grease a baking tin.

Place the potatoes on the tin and put in the oven.

Turn them over from time to time and baste with hot oil to keep them soft.

Cook until golden brown.

Serve hot with meat, fish or vegetables.
