Ingredients

250g yeast dough (prepared as for doughnuts)

125g minced meat

125g chopped prawns

1 dessertspoon mixed curry powder

4 shallots (sliced)

Salt to taste

1 tablespoon oil

Juice of ½ lime
Methods

Heat the oil and fry the shallots. When tender, add the curry powder and fry for a minute.

Add minced meat and prawns and fry for another minute.

Add a little water and simmer gently until the meat and prawns are cooked.

Add salt to taste and lime juice.

Divide the dough into small rounds, shape into cups and place a little of the prepared filling inside.

Shape into rolls.

Prove for 20 minutes. Brush over with egg or milk. Bake in a hot oven for 10 minutes.
